Spalted Maple Bowl | Large
A gorgeous piece of art for serving or display. Spalted or ambrosia maple is prized for its beautiful and distinctive striations and color variations, making each bowl totally unique (examples of the kinds of variations to expect pictured below). The bowls are oiled and coated in a food-safe beeswax to protect them from drying out. Available in two sizes; medium is great for side dishes or personal salads, and the large is perfect for a group.

Spencer Peterman has been hand-turning wooden bowls from fallen trees in his workshop in Gill, Massachusetts since 2000. Each bowl is signed by the artist.
